In this tutorial we will be transferring files in Smart FTP
The first step is opening the local file browser
Next we will open our remote site from the favorites menu

Let's select a group of files to upload. Click one file and then shift-click another to select a group of files.
Then we will drag this group of files to our remote site
If there are files with the same name on the remote server with the same name you will be asked how you want to handle them
We will select to overwrite all of the files with the new ones
Downloading files is the same process. Select the file on your remote site and drag it to your local browser
You can set the transfer mode for files. Normally you would leave it set at AUTO so the FTP client figures out how to upload the files automatically. If you need to you can force Smart FTP to upload files in ASCII or Binary mode
