WordPress is a very easy script to install. This tutorial will walk you through the installation.
The first thing we need to do is create a database. Click on the MySQL Database Wizard button.
Give your database a name.
Create a database user.
Give your database user "ALL PRIVILEGES".
Your database has been created. The next step is uploading Joomla.
You need to go to the cPanel home page and click on the File Manager icon.
Then click on the Upload button.
Browse to the file on your computer.
Select the file to upload.
Then go back to your file manager.
Select the package and click the Extract button.
Now we need to go to the WordPress installer. Just visit the folder you installed WordPress into. Click the button to have the configuration.php file created for you. If this files just create a file named configuration.php in your WordPress directory.
The configuration file has been created. Now we can begin the install.
Enter your database details that you created earlier.
WordPress can connect to your database. Run the installation.
Enter your site name you'd like and your email address.
The password is randomly generated and will not be displayed again. Make sure to take careful note of it. WordPress is now installed and ready for use.
