In this tutorial we will be managing our forums
Begin by clicking on Management
First, let's create a new category on the forum. Type in a name
Then click Create new category
Let's go back to the forum administration
Let's create a new forum under our new category. Enter a name
Then click Create new forum
Enter a description for your forum
You can change the category is you need to
You can lock the forum for posting if you want to
You can turn on Auto-pruning. This will delete forum posts automatically, useful for announcement forums
When you have all of the options setup click Create new forum
Let's go back to the forum administration
Now let's delete the category we created. All you have to do is click Delete next to the category you want to delete
You can move the contents of the forums to another category
When you are ready click Move and Delete
Your category has been deleted
